From Barnstaple

Take the Ilfracombe road out of Barnstaple (A361) and after approximately four miles you will enter the village of Braunton. Keeping to the same road drive through the village centre and after the traffic lights keep looking to your left when you see the Fire Station take the right hand turning into Church Street, then a sharp left into the St. Brannock’s Room’s car park (cream and green building with a wall and railing, looking a bit like a School). Walk on up the street from there, over the river bridge and you will find the gates to the Churchyard. Go up the path and round to the front south porch* through the half glazed doors push the open large oak door in front of you, you are here. Welcome!

*For some services such as funerals, and in the heat of summer we open the west door, that’s the first door that you see along the churchyard path. This will normally be obvious as the half timbered gates of that porch will be open.
